AlivePDF is a collection of libraries, totally free, to be used and referenced by programmers. From these libraries, via source code, you can create images and drawings from a PDF document, using just AS3 for this.
Also with the libraries from AlivePDF, and always via source code, you can insert images, in BMP format, into the PDF you indicate; also, you can edit the file headers, and capture text.
AlivePDF works with ActionScript 3, the Open Source library and with a MIT licence. It is a collection of libraries that`s a bit basic, but will help you at set times.
